睡眠,是人類基本的生理需求,每一個人都需要有充足的睡眠來應日間的活動。

睡眠發生障礙,常造成身體上、精神上的困擾。

引致失眠的原因,一般由以下多個因素而成: 心理因素: 包括緊張、焦慮或抑鬱生活模式: 時差、吸煙、睡前喝了含咖啡因或含有刺激性飲品環境因素: 如聲音、光線、氣味,床舖不舒服、房間溫度太冷或太熱等生理因素: 多尿、咳嗽、疼痛或身體不適。

Many people may stress about not getting enough sleep to function, but the stress alone of trying to sleep can cause people to sit awake for hours.

Insomnia, the inability to get to sleep or sleep well at night, can be affected by stress, jet lag, a health condition, the medications you take, or even the amount of coffee you drink. Insomnia can also be caused by other sleep disorders or mood disorders such as anxiety and depression.
